Homi Bhabha Results 2019-2020: Many students possess scientific knowledge and also have a passion for science. But, they didn’t have enough economic support to fulfill their dreams. Hence, Bombay Science Teachers Association had taken an initiative to encourage them to indulge in the research of their own. Their vision is to motivate the benefits of science and make the students clear scientific talent. It also searches for the brighter and ingenious students in science. 

Hence it conducts Dr. Homi Bhabha Balavaidnyaik Competition to students and selects the talented one. Homi Bhabha provides many benefits to the selected students like issuing awards, scholarships, etc.

Homi Bhabha Results 2019-2020 (6th & 9th Class) MSTA Practical Exam Dates 

Eligibility Criteria:

Only the students belonging to the 6th and 9th standards are allowed to attend this exam.

Medium:

Students will be provided with a choice of selecting one mode among the three options (English, Semi- English, Marathi)

Students applying for the Homi Bhaba exams may belong to any of the following Boards (SSC / CBSE / ICSE / IB etc.)

Exams will be conducted in various centers located across the Maharashtra state (Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nashik, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Vidarbha). It is going to be conducted on Saturday, 5th October 2019 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Structure of the Competition

Homi Bhabha Exams consists of three phases.

1. Written Competition

2. Practical Competition

3. A. General Interview and B. Evaluation of Action Research Project.

Written Test: It consists of 100 multiple choice questions based on Science and General Knowledge in Science. The maximum marks that can be obtained is 100. The duration of the exam is 90 min. The top 7.5% of students will be selected for the next phase. The students selected in this stage will be provided with a merit certificate.

Syllabus

Homi Bhabha’s exam figures out the creative thinking and understanding the power of a student. The questions asked in it are based on SSC textbooks, ICSE textbooks, CBSE textbooks. Mainly basic concepts of science will be asked in the exams. For 6th standard student’s syllabus is given below.

4th, 5th, 6th standards Textbooks play a vital role in the exam. Probably 10% of the questions will be based on the 4th standard, 20% based on the 5th standard and 60% based on the 6th class syllabus. 10% of questions on General Knowledge in Science.

The venue of Interview and Evaluation of Action Research

For the selected students it is conducted at D.S. High School, opposite Gurukripa Restaurant, Road Number 24, Sion (W), Mumbai 400022.

Directions:

Awards, Prizes, and Scholarships

Prizes and Scholarships will be assigned to students based on their performance in all three phases.

30% marks of the Phase- 1, Stage- 2 marks, stage- 3 marks will be taken into consideration.

Top 10% students will be awarded a gold medal and also a onetime scholarship of Rs.3000/-. Next 60% of students will get Silver medal and scholarship of Rs.2000/-. 

And remaining all students will get a bronze medal and a scholarship of Rs.1000/-. And Dr Vikram Sarabhai Trophy will be awarded to the school that win highest medals. Vidnyan Jattha Trophy to the school which has most participations.

These awards and prizes have been given by the Homi Bhabha, to encourage them. This benefits them to a major extent.

Competition Fee

The registration fee is the same for all the students belonging to any school. It is confirmed as Rs.250/- and a late fee of Rs.300/-. Students can apply to this exam by either from the school or as an individual. For the students applying as an individual, the fee is Rs.500/-. Students can apply only through online.

Procedure to Pay the Fee:

Students can deposit the fee in the bank mentioned, pay using net banking, also through UPI.

How to Download Results?

Step 1: Students who have written MSTA Exam they must visit the site like www.msta.in

Step 2: Find out the Homi Bhabha Result link at the home of the MSTA site.

Step 3: Open the 6th and 9th Class Homi Bhabha exam Results.

Step 4: Enter Details like Hall ticket Number and Date of birth.

Step 5: Download Results for Phase 1 Exam.
